Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s)

The week beginning the 2 November 2020, pupils in Years 7 and 8 are to attend school as normal as part of the fire break arrangements outlined by the Welsh government. We will be continuing with our new COVID-19 systems and procedures with the aim of keeping pupils safe and school transport and the canteen will also operate as normal.

The fire break week will mean that pupils in Years 9 - 13 will be expected to access work on Google Classroom as per their normal school timetable for that week, which is Week 1, lessons 1, 3 and 5 as part of a virtual school day. They need to follow the subjects that day according to the timings of the school day, completing all work set, with the opportunity to ask their teacher questions via the 'chat' facility on Google classroom during the session as staff will be available to respond.

As a polite reminder, pupils will be expected to be in full school uniform after the half term break, wearing either the school blazer or jumper with no hoodies or any other jumpers permitted.

Yours sincerely

Dr S M Mitchell
