Work Experience

We are very proud of our Year 10 pupils who achieved certificates for successful Work Experience placements. We have approximately 165 pupils who succeed in accessing work places.

We make regular visits throughout the week to see what skills the pupils have achieved in the working environment (some of our pupils have got weekend jobs from their expericence).

As a school, we have received wonderful feedback from pupils but most of all, employers praising the pupils, regarding their work ethic and politeness.

Work Experience takes place during the last week of term in July for 5 days, this is compulsory to comply with the school curriculum.

Some pupils not only gain weekend jobs at the end but some gain Apprenticeships once they have completed their GCSE’s.
