The school regularly raises funds for charities such as Children in Need, Breast Cancer Wales, Meningitis Now and Velindre.

Pupils were awarded prizes for their contribution in Our Race for Life.
The final total we have raised is £3914.88 +gift aid. This is amazing, a big thank you to all who participated, supervised and donated!
Thank you also to the following companies for their contributions for pupils prizes;
Escape Rooms Cardiff, Delta Force, Cyfartha Railway, Honda, Dare Fitness, Nando’s, Bradley’s coffee shop, JD Wetherspoons, Brad’s sketchpad, Lynx Barbers, Anthony Charles hairdressers and to Dwr Cymru for donating 500 bottles of water for the pupils who participated in the race.
Children in Need
For many years St John Baptist High School has raised a lot of money for charities, one of the major one’s being Children in Need.
Our pupils are really successful and hold fun activities over a week during their lunchtime. Activities include;
- Bodyball
- Netball
- Staff leg waxing
- Karaoke
Pudsey makes his visit every year to see the pupils and staff of the school.
