St John Baptist CIW High School

On Friday 26th February 2010, six pupils from the Year 12 Applied Business class entered the Sony Small Business Challenge at the University of Glamorgan. They all enjoyed the day and found it very beneficial. Furthermore, they won an award for the ‘Best Business Plan’, the first time the school has achieved this. The students involved were;

February was British Heart Foundation month.

Year 13 Home Economics students arranged a number of fund raising activities, including;

selling BHF Heart brooches

teddy bear raffle (won by Mr Llewellyn)

guess the no. of sweets in the jar

two cakes sales

and a WEAR RED DAY.

Thanks to all who helped make this a great success. We raised £964.38!
