A wet and wild expedition in the remotest regions of the Rhondda Valley and Afan Argoed Forestry was successfully completed by all 23 participants in the last week of term.
Participants overcame torrential rainstorms, thunder and lightning and gail force winds to pitch camp in Afan Argoed Country Park.
Congratulations go out to all who took part as all concerned made the supervisors and assessors very proud - Unit Leader, Mr. Thomas said, "The participants showed great commitment and strength of character to emerge from their soggy tents and begin the hike in the rain on day two - I'm very proud of them!"
