July 2017

Some of our year 8 pupils took part in a Bake Off competition for the best cupcakes with Mrs Hedges.
Congratulations to Carys Durston who won the ALN competition.

Congratulations to James Reed year 8 on winning the Anti-Bullying poster competition which was run by Katie Williams and Milly Edwards year 10 for their Welsh Baccalaureate community project.

June 2017

An ALN transition party was held on June 22nd so the pupils could become familiar with our school and staff before the 'Welcome Days.
As you  can see from the photographs, the pupils had great fun!

March 2017

Congratulations to the ASDAN CoPE class who have been successful in gaining their qualification. 62% of the class have achieved a level 2 pass. Well done all! They are to be presented with certificates.

January 2017

We are very grateful to year 12 pupils who have provided literacy intervention for year 7 pupils through Guided Reading. The pupils have been trained to carry out this programme and it is proving very successful.

Mrs Karen MacDonald ALNCo was invited to attend and present at the National ALN Capita Conference in the Hilton Hotel on October 18th. The conference was addressing SEN and MAT provision.
