Welcome to St John's

Jonathan Davies (Website)I am proud to welcome you to St John Baptist CiW High School, or more commonly know as simply, St John's. We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, serving the Christian and non-Christian communities within the local authority.

We aim to provide all pupils with an exceptional education, within a caring and supportive Christian environment. We seek to achieve this by ensuring all St John’s pupils achieve their potential academically; develop the necessary skills to enable them to progress to the next stage in their lives; while demonstrating the values and attributes to become good citizens.

We are a high-performing school, with outcomes in public examinations consistently amongst the best in the local and wider region. We support pupils by providing high-quality learning experiences; a strong pastoral system; and a commitment to delivering excellence in all areas. We also provide an extensive range of sporting, cultural, physical and extra-curricular activities to help pupils develop their God-given talents fully.

Our pupils, as you will see should you visit us, are happy, hard-working and positive about the school. We have a committed team of staff who are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting the young people in our care. Our families want the best for their children, and place significant emphasis on education as a platform for future happiness. This is a school with infinite potential.

At St John's, we seek to have the highest expectations of and for our pupils. We place great importance on working together in partnership with pupils, staff and parents to deliver our ambitions.

If you are considering sending your child to St John’s or would like to find out more, please get in touch.
