St John's is looking for a talented and suitably experienced senior leader to join us as our new Headteacher from September 2026.

The Governing Body, pupils and staff are looking for a new Headteacher who is

  • a practising Christian, committed to exemplifying the distinctive Christian values and ethos of St John’s;
  • passionate about delivering high-quality education for all pupils;
  • a strategic thinker, with a clear vision for an outstanding faith-based education;
  • an excellent leader with a proven track record of success at Deputy Head or Headteacher level;
  • able to inspire, motivate and empower others to succeed;
  • experienced in working effectively with governors to help achieve the school’s aims; and
  • committed to further developing and building on the existing partnerships within the St John’s community.
